Registration of old and new pupils in the elementary and high schools connected with the ten New York Yeshivahs, combined in the United Yeshivah Chest, starts this week, according to an announcement issued by C. Joshua Epstein, vice-president of the organization.
The Yeshivahs functioning in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx, had an enrollment last year of close to 5,000 pupils, and it is expected that the number of registrants will be increased.
