Regret for the damage to the tourist business caused by the ban placed by some Austrian resorts against Jewish guests was expressed by the Minister of Transportation.
In reply to the query of Jewish papers, which published lists of summer resorts where Jews are not welcomed to the hotels nor houses rented to Jewish families the Minister stated that the department regrets such cases because it damages the tourist business. Such cases are not officially known to the Ministry, because no complaints have been presented to the Transportation Department, he declared.
