The Israel Consul General in New York, Mr. Rehaveam Amir, participated yesterday at a meeting of over 1000 youngsters from Jewish youth camps at Camp Tel Yehuda, the national camp of Young Judaea. The Consul General’s stay at Tel Yehuda was the last of his visits to the New York area camps during which he met with campers and with the members of the Israel delegation of educators who especially came to serve on more than 60 summer camps. Mr. Amir discussed the last developments in the Middle East with Israeli and American educators and praised their contribution to the strengthened Jewish consciousness
