Acting upon the vigorous protests submitted by several foreign consulates, German government authorities have ruled that Jewish traders who are citizens of foreign countries are to be permitted to display their wares at the annual autumn fair at Oranienburg.

A police order prohibiting all Jews to exhibit their merchandise among that shown by “Aryans” at the fair and assigning the Jews to a separate market at a distance from the fair brought vigorous protests from German Jews and from many foreign Jewish traders who came to Oranienburg for the fair. Not until the consulates of several countries had intervened did the authorities permit foreign Jewish traders to participate in the fair. A similar order also admitted members of the League of German Jewish Front Soldiers.
