Jewish circles expressed fears today over a report that all Jewish meetings may be prohibited during the trial of David Frankfurter, Yugoslavian Jewish medical student, opening earl next month in Chur, Switzerland, for the murder of Wilhelm Gustloff, Nazi leader.

Such a ban would interfere with observance of the Jewish festival of Chanukah, it was stated.

S. A. Mann, organ of the Nazi Storm Troops, declared in a long article on the forthcoming trial that “Jewish journalists the world over are mobilizing to influence the Swiss court.”

The paper said “the Jews are now applying the old method of shouting, “Stop thief’ , intending to save Frankfurter in this way.” The Nazi organ warned against “a world offensive undertaken by world Jewry.”
