New impetus was given today to the anti-Jewish boycott in Germany when local Nazi leaders in all parts of Germany issued orders to their followers not to enter Jewish stores on pain of expulsion.

Herr Karlholz. Nazi commissar for the Nuremberg region, addressing a conference of peasants at Feuchtwagen, declared that any member of the Nazi party seen buying from a Jew will be expelled immediately. The Nazi peasant leader for each village represented at the conference pledged obedience to the boycott against Jewish merchants.

The Nazi commissar for the city of Gotha issued an emphatic warning that any one wearing the swastika emblem will be expelled it seen entering a Jewish store.

Dr. Conti, Nazi director for medical affairs in the Prussian Ministry of the Interior, announced today in the Voelkischer Beobachter that the entire municipal, sanitary and medical system of the city of Berlin has been completely cleared of Jews but declared that there is still a large proportion of Jews engaged in free medical practice. Of 6,200 doctors in Berlin, the Nazi director said, half are still “non-Aryans.” Of the 3,481 doctors on the Berlin sick fund panels at the end of October, 1933 he said, 1,888 are Jews. Conti omitted to state that most Jewish doctor were dismissed from the Berlin sick fund panels after October leaving many without proper medical service.
