A line of demarcation between “Aryans” and “non-Aryans” in the matter of their names was decreed in an order of the Prussian Minister of the Interior issued today.
The decree prohibits in principle the changing of names by Jews to “Aryan-sounding” appellations. It provides that Jews wishing to change “obscene-sounding” names may do so only if they adopt another Jewish name.
By the same token “Aryans” possessing Jewish – sounding names are entitled to “Aryanize” them.
