Whether or not Jewish athletes will participate in the Berlin Olympiad in 1936 is still undecided.
Indeed, Dr. Wilhelm F. Frick, Reich Minister of the Interior, who is handling the matter, believes that the question of whether the Olympiad will be held altogether is unsettled, largely because neither America nor England have sent official notification that they will participate in the meet.
Several Jewish sports federations which submitted lists of their candidates to the Reich Sports leader, requesting that training camp facilities be provided for such candidates, have not as yet received confirmation of the receipt of the lists submitted. Nor have any of these athletes been called to the training camps.
So far there has been no official statement on the subject.
