The anti-Hitler mass meeting held at Madison Square Garden in New York last Wednesday evening has made the German press nervous.
Without publishing details of the “trial,” yesterday’s editions of a number of newspapers appear concerned over the fact that the meeting was addressed by such public figures as Mayor Fiorello a Guardia of New York, Alfred E. Smith, Professor Raymond Moley and Senator Millard E. Tydings.
