The Ministry of the Interior took steps yesterday to put more teeth into the “Aryan clause” with its issuance of an order that federal, state, city and public organization employees and teachers will not be eligible for promotion if they are not “pure Aryans” or are not married to “pure Aryans.”
Under the “Aryan clause” anyone with Jewish blood within four generations of ancestors is “non-Aryan.”
