Ministry of Justice officials, meeting under the presidency of Reichsminister Franz Guertner, decided today to intensify prosecution of cases of alleged “Rassenschande” (race defilement, or intimate relations between “Aryans” and “non-Aryans.”)
Roland Freisler, State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice, told the conference that “Rassenschande” offenders must be considered by law as making an attack on the very life of the nation. The crime is defined in the law adopted by the Reichstag at Nuremberg in Sept., 193.
