The Reichsvertretung der Deutschen Juden has set up a sub-committee to deal with all questions relating to artisanship.
The action stems from the growth in the importance of artisanship in German Jewish life. Dr. Rudolph Kullman, member of the presidium of the Reichsvertretung, is chairman of the body.
The Jewish Artisans’ League at Frankfurt-am-Main has just celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary. Wilhelm Marcus, chairman of the Central Union of Jewish Artisans, emphasized the need of executing the transfer of Jews to productive occupations along systematic lines.
