Stahlhelm, German war veterans organization allied with the Nazis, will accept as members Jews who distinguished themselves at the front during the War, Stahlhelm leader von Stephani announced today.
He authorized the Stahlhelm leaders in each of the German states to decide for themselves whether to accept or reject Jewish applications.
Apart from these exceptions, non-Aryans cannot be members of the Stahlhelm. Even Aryans who are married to Jewesses cannot belong, von Stephani announced. However, Aryans who married Jewesses before the order was issued should not be expelled, the Stahlhelm leader ordered.
