Enforced sales of Jewish-owned art objects and art jewelry in Germany have been extended to articles worth less than 1,000 marks, which were previously exempted. A decree to this effect has been issued by the Ministry of Economics, according to the Sunday Times.
The decree charges the Reich Chamber of Arts with responsibility for buying all jewelry and works of art still in Jewish hands. The chamber will fix the prices.
