Soldiers and army officers are for the first time officially told to boycott Jewish firms in a revised edition of the handbook for young soldiers, published by the Reichswehr.
Enumerating the duties of German soldiers, the handbook declares that the German boycott of Jewish shops, combined with untiring Nazi propaganda abroad, has brought about a different atmosphere on the part of the world with regard to Germany. Furthermore, the handbook boasts, these efforts have succeeded in counteracting all attempts to boycott German goods abroad.
