Relations between the Greek Orthodox Church and the Israeli Government were discussed here today when representatives of the Church in the Old City of Jerusalem paid a visit to the New City and conferred with Israeli authorities. Greece’s Ambassador to the Jewish state as well as a representative of the Israeli Ministry for Religious Affairs participated in the talks. The subject of Church property in Israel was raised during the discussions.
(Administration of all Russian property in Israel will revert to representatives of the Soviet Union under the terms of a bill to be introduced shortly in the Knesset, a dispatch from Tel Aviv reported during the week-end.
