Religious discrimination and remedies for it will be the topic of a two-day seminar in November at Carlisle, Pa., it was announced here today. The announcement was made by the Rev. A. W. Gottschall, pastor of the First Christian Church, Baltimore, and secretary of the Religious Education Association’s Middle Atlantic Area regional committee.
Rabbi Louis Wolsey, of the Rodeph Shalom Congregation, Philadelphia; Dr. D. A. Robertson, recently appointed president of Goucher College here, and Dr. George S. Bull, S. J., of Woodstock (Md.) College, will lead the two-day discussion of the problem of the “extent of discrimination and what we can do about it.”
The conference, to be held at Dickinson College, will open Sunday, November 2, and conclude with morning and afternoon sessions the next day. It is being planned jointly by the Religious Education Association and the National Conference of Jews and Christians.
