The current anti-Semitic campaign in Rumania was denounced here last night by Minister of Culture Victor Jamandi, addressing a conference of the Liberal Party.

Charging religious institutions had become political and pastors were acting as political agents, M. Jamandi declared:

“The Liberal Party must end this state of affairs if it wishes to remain true to democracy.”
