The United States Government was urged here today to declare a “moratorium” on all economic and technical grants to those Arab states which impose “economic sanctions, unfair treatment, and political disabilities on American citizens.”

Rabbi Bernard Bergman, for men president of the Religious Zionists of America, told the organization’s annual convention here that it was “decidedly unjust and inequitable to require Americans to contribute their tax dollars to any country which makes invidious distinctions between American citizens.” He also urged the State Department to investigate “the abusive and want on behavior of the Arab students in this country who are perverting their scholarship privileges, rights and hospitalities by indulging in a contemptible and dishonorable anti-Semitic campaign on the campuses of American colleges.”
