Jewish youth throughout the world were urged, in a resolution adopted at the closing session today of the world convention of B’nai Akiva, the religious Zionist youth movement, to settle in Israel to build and defend the Jewish State.
The 71 delegates from 22 national branches of the pioneering youth movement emphasized the “Torah and Work” motto of the organization. They urged increased training programs in the free world, to prepare Jewish youth for participation in such a program of strengthening Jewish tradition in Israel while building up the land.
