A French economic mission arrived here today to negotiate the renewal of the Franco-Israel trade agreement signed in 1953. The agreement has been renewed automatically every year. But the discussions to open here tomorrow will cover its possible expansion to the industrial sphere. The delegation is headed by C. Colin of the French Ministry of Economics and Finance. The Israeli negotiating team is headed by Ephraim Haran, director of the economic division of the Foreign Ministry.
