Representative Joseph Clark Baldwin was scheduled to leave for England and Palestine today to confer with British Prime Minister Clement Attlee and members of his government as well as British authorities in Palestine. He will also investigate conditions in refugee detention camps in Cyprus. Mr. Baldwin has already conferred with President Truman, British Foreign Minister Ernest Bevin, and Lord Inverchapel, British Ambassador to the United States. He is going on behalf of the Political Action Committee for Palestine.
