The Central Committee of Polish Jews today announced the establishment of “repatriation posts” in Lodz, Crasow, Nattowice, Bialystok, Przemyal, Chelm and Warsaw to receive Polish Jews being repatriated from the Soviet Union.

Units of the committee’s repatriation department will meet the repatriates and provide food and temporary lodging until they can continue to their eventual destinations. Most of the returning Jews are being directed to Upper Silesia for resettlement.
