Reports widely circulated abroad that Julius Streicher, Germany’s high priest of anti-Semitism, has sold his pornographic weekly Der Stuermer for 2,500,000 marks could not be confirmed here today.
There have been persistent reports that a group has been seeking to take over the anti-Semitic publication or to buy Streicher’s moderation in his war upon the Jews until after the Olympic Games, or at least until the United States has made its final decision on participation.
