A number of Arab prisoners in the Central Prison in Jerusalem will be amnestied in connection with King George’s coronation next month, according to Al Liwaa, Arabic daily.
One of the prisoners said to have been promised an amnesty is Ahmed Jaber, serving a sentence for crimes committed during the anti-Jewish riots of 1929.
