Colonial Minister George Hall today heard for the first time the demands of displaced Jews directly from their representatives, who asked for the opening of Palestine to Jewish survivors.
Rabbi Meisels from the Bergen-Belsen camp and Rabbi Halberstam, representing the displaced Jews in Italy, were in an Agudas Israel delegation received by Hall. The delegation submitted the resolutions adopted at the Agudas Israel conference, which just concluded in London, and stressed particularly the fact that all Jewish organizations are united in demanding maximum immigration of displaced Jews to Palestine.
