Indignation and apprehension were felt today by the parents of 1,500 Jewish school children who went out on strike at the instigation of the Young Communist League and also of the Communistic Student League.
The strikers have returned to their classes, but their parents fear retaliatory measures because all the children who laid down their books and walked out were Jewish. The school board has already announced that scholarships will be withheld from active participants in the movement.
