Residents of the fervently Orthodox community of Bnai Brak near Tel Aviv denounced a spate of attacks at three area synagogues, where vandals drew swastikas, removed mezuzot and smashed windows. The Israeli daily Ma’ariv reported that evidence found at the sites raised the possibility that members of a Satanic cult were responsible.
