Reuben Cantor has accepted the chairmanship of the Richmond Division of the $2,000,000 national emergency campaign for the settlement of German Jewish refugees in Palestine, Nathan Straus Jr. chairman of the greater New York division, announced.
Mr. Cantor is a director of the Bar Association and chairman of the speakers bureau of the Democratic party in Richmond County. He is also a trustee of Temple Emanu-El in Port Richmond and of the Staten Island Hospital. Mr. Cantor is president of the Unity Club, of the Jewish Civic Club and of the law committee of the Democratic party, as well as the official Supreme Court reporter.
