A military spokesman disclosed today that three bazooka shells were fired Friday night at the home of the Military Governor of Jenin in the northern Samaria district. Seven more bazooka shells with a timing mechanism attached, were found concealed under tree branches, about 400 yards from the Governor’s home. A guard reported that he heard the shells in flight at about 2:00 a.m. local time Friday. They exploded in an onion field near the Jenin refugee quarter, about 200 yards from the Governor’s home.
