The second annual convention of the Histadruth Leumith, the Revisionist Labor Federation, opened here today in the presence of 150 delegates representing tens of thousands of workers.
The convention was greeted by representatives of the Vaad Leumi, the Jewish National Council of Palestine, by Rabbi Uziel, and by representatives of the General Zionists and the Yemenites.
The Histadruth Leumith is a labor organization set up by the Revisionists in competition to the Histadruth, the Palestine Socialist Federation of Labor. Despite its short existence, the Histadruth Leumith now has a large following in Palestine and embodies thousands of organized Jewish workers.
