The Palestine Revisionist Conference today adopted a resolution demanding the resignation of the Zionist Executive, called upon the government to make a fundamental revision in its immigration policy and proclaimed a boycott against the proposed creation of a legislative council.
With more than 1,000 delegates attending from all parts of the country, the gathering was opened last night by Dr. Jacob Weinshall and Dr. Wolfgang von Weisel, Revisionist leaders.
Restriction of immigration was attacked as illegal and contrary to the League of Nations mandate, while the legislative council plan was characterized as a manoeuvre by the British to achieve remission of their duties under the mandate by creating an Arab majority. This, it was maintained, was in direct opposition to the establishment of the Jewish National Home in Palestine.
Amid cheers the convention voted to send telegraphic greetings to Vladimir Jabotinsky, world leader of the organization; Aba Achimeier, imprisoned Revisionist; Dr. Yevin, also jailed in the Brith Habiryonim case, and Abraham Stavsky and Zvi Rosenblatt, as “symbols of Revisionist suffering.”
