The plebiscite which the World Executive of the Zionist Revisionist Party has set for May 19 to approve the establishment of an Independent Zionist Organization rivaling the present World Zionist Organization, has been postponed to June 2, it was announced today.
On this day all members of the Revisionist Party throughout the world will vote on whether a new Zionist Organization is to be proclaimed. The vote, which is expected to be in the affirmative, will be followed by convocation of a special Constituent Congress for December, 1935, on the basis of a separate Shekel.
In the meantime members of the Revisionist Party or affiliated bodies are forbidden to participate in the next Zionist Congress elections and to buy the Zionist Shekel even as individuals. All those violating this decision will be expelled from the party.
