A total of 2,986 members of the Zionist Revisionist Party in America voted for the establishment of the Independent Zionist organization and 148 voted against it in the plebiscite of last Sunday, according to a statement issued Thursday from the headquarters of the Revisionist party in New York.
“The Zionist Organization has no monopoly now in representing world Jewry,” the statement says. “The newly established Independent Zionist Organization will permit every Jew to vote, provided he recognizes the principle of a Jewish State in Palestine.”
