The post of Assistant Political Secretary Richmond, who was appointed to watch over Arab interests, has been abolished. It is announced at the same time that Dr. E.H. Bowman, Director of Education in Palestine and Phythian Adams, Keeper of the Palestine Museums, have resigned. There is considerable conjecture here as to the significance of the abolishment of Mr. Richmond’s post, and the two resignations.
