Harold Riegelman, New York City lawyer and a leader in Jewish college fraternity work in this country, has been appointed by Attorney General Ward to take charge of the prosecution of election frauds in New York City. Samuel A. Berger and Marshall Snyder will be among those who will assist Mr. Riegelman in this work.
Mr. Riegelman is a leader of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity, of the inter-collegiate Menorah Association and president of the Council on American Jewish Student Affairs. He has been Special Assistant Attorney General in charge of Constitutional cases in the Federal and State courts, was counsel to the state commission on revision of the tenement house law and has been a State Veterans’ Relief Commissioner since 1922.
