The right-wing National Democratic Party, overwhelmingly rejected by West German voters in the Sept. 28 election, is trying to erase its neo-Nazi image. Party chairman Adolf Von Thadden said the NPD would have to make it clear at the next party conference that it is in no way descended from Hitler’s National Socialist Party either ideologically or in its membership. The NPD will hold its post-election conference at Saarbruecken Nov. 14 – 16.
