Rochester Jewish organizations today were pledged to assist in raising the $1,000,000 fund sought by the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society to aid Jewish immigrants from Germany. Henry M. Stern heads the movement. Presidents of congregations and lay organizations have been asked to reserve a day for the HIAS appeal.
