The 28th anniversary of the death of Theodore Herzl, Zionist leader, was observed by the Jewish community of this city at a mass meeting at the Hebrew Library Sunday night.
Jacob S. Hollander, Superintendent of the Jewish Children’s Home, was chairman of the meeting, and the speakers included Rabbi A. Z. Kurtz, Rabbi M. I. Goldin and the Rev. S. Marshak. Cantor Isaacson recited the memorial prayer.
In connection with the local observance, a radio talk was given by Aaron Goldin on “Dr. Herzl, the Immortal Leader of an Iminortal Idea.”
