The Rockefeller Foundation announced today a three-year $50,000 grant to further research in solar energy at the National Physical Laboratory in Jerusalem.
In its announcement, the Foundation said “the development of an almost perfect coating for solar collectors is one of the major achievements of the research on solar energy directed by Dr. H. Tabor at the National Physical Laboratory.” The Foundation also announced a $17, 000 grant to Brandeis University for a three-year research project on economic development, and individual fellowships to Dr. German Ducash Grinberg, of the medical faculty of the University of Chile, and Dr. Sholom Kahn of the Hebrew University to come to the U. S. to study, respectively, hematology and literature.
