The election of Harry Rogoff as editor-in-chief of the Jewish Daily Forward, largest Yiddish daily newspaper in the world, was announced here by the Forward Association. Mr. Rogoff, who has been acting editor for the last five years, succeeds the late Abraham Cahan. He joined the editorial staff of the Forward in 1906 and became managing editor soon after. He is the author of a number of books, including a “History of the United States” in Yiddish.
