President Roosevelt today signed a bill giving permission to naturalized wives and children of citizens living abroad for governmental, religious, charitable and similar reasons, to remain outside the country for as long as necessary without losing their citizenship. Ordinarily, naturalized citizens lose their American nationality by staying in foreign countries more than five years. The bill was introduced by Rep, Noah M. Mason, Illinois Republican.
