The Rose L. Halprin youth hostel was dedicated at Kibbutz Bohan near Nathanya last week. It will serve Jewish youth from abroad who come to Israel for the “Shenat Sherut”–a year of voluntary service. Dr. Israel Goldstein, chairman of Keren Hayesod, spoke at the dedication ceremonies which were attended by local officials and foreign guests. The hostel is named for Mrs. Rose L. Halprin, an American woman Zionist leader who served for many years as president of Hadassah and as chairman of the American Section of the Jewish Agency.
