Baroness de Rothschild, widow of Baron Edmond de Rothschild, known as the Father of Jewish Colonization, died here last night, six months after the death of her husband.
The Baroness died after having been in a coma for several days. She will be buried on Tuesday in Pere Lachaise Cemetery with Jewish rites.
The Baroness was a member of the Rothschild family before her marriage to Baron Edmond, who was her cousin. She was Adelaide, the daughter of ##helm Karl Rothschild of Frankfurt-am-Main.
The survivors of the Baron de Rothschild family are the two sons, James A. and Maurice Rothschild, and a daughter, Miriam. James A. Rothschild is the elder. He lives in England now and was spoken of several years ago as candidate for President of the World Zionist Organization. Maurice Rothschild is a member of the French Senate.
