Roumania Acts to Relieve Famine

Measures for relieving the famine situation in Bessarabia were decided upon at the session of the Roumanian cabinet. The program outlined aims principally to relieve the village population. Cities were also included in the plan.

The Ministry of Labor, in conjunction with the Red Cross, has opened public kitchens in several towns.
