Professor Anghelescu, the Minister of Education, speaking with the Jewish Senator Horia Karp in the course of a two hours’ interview on the question of the Minorities schools in general and the Jewish schools in particular, said that he recognized the importance of the Jewish schools and agreed that it was necessary to establish a Jewish Teachers’ Seminary, in which the Jewish studies would be taught in Hebrew and the general studies in Roumanian. The Institute should have two sections, pedagogic and rabbinical.
