The anti-Jewish excesses in Roumanian towns will not be repeated if the leaders of the anti-Semitic student movement keep their promises.
Despatches received here from Bucharest reproduce a report of the Roumanian newspaper, “Politica,” according to which the Roumanian Minister of Education, Petrovici, and Octavian Goga, Minister of the interior, negotiated with the leaders of the students concerning the governmental order to the police chiefs to take extraordinary measures to stop the excesses.
The leaders of the student movement are reported to have promised that the riots will not reoccur.
