Representatives of Jewish organizations in the Old Kingdom, Transylvania and Bukowina, have decided to act in unison in all internal matters affecting Jewsih rights in the country.
The new situation was brought about at a conference of organization representatives which too place here and in which Dr. William Filderman, president of the Union of Roumanian Jews, Dr. Niemerower, member of the Senate, Senator Horiah Carp and Dr. Meyer Ebner of Bukowina, participated. Leon Fischer, vice-president of the United Roumanian Jews of America was also present.
The conference decided to create a central committee to coordinate the activities of the participant organizations and to plan joint action in all Roumanian Jewsih questions. It will be the purpose of this committee to hasten the proper organization of the Jewsih communities in Bessarabia which is now a part of Roumania.
