Roumanian Jewry was officially represented at the final celebrations at Alba Julia yesterday, commemorating the tenth anniversary of the existence of Greater Roumania. Two hundred thousand persons participated in the pagaent. No disorders were recorded.
Delegations from Jewish communities in all parts of the country as well as representatives of the Jewish student groups were in attendance. Among the Jewish leaders present were Dr. William Filderman, president of the Union of Roumanian Jews, Chief Rabbi Dr. Niemerower, Dr. Stern and Dr. Baubergher of the Jewish Club and Deputies Fischer, Landa, Rosenberg and Zipstein.
