Roumanian Premier Urges Measures to Suppress Anti-jewish Excesses

Measures to maintain order were taken by General Averescu, Prime Minister of Roumania, according to an official report in the “Politica,” a Roumanian newspaper. It was stated that the Premier urged Minister of the Interior Goga to proceed strongly against those who disturb the public order.

Twelve Jews of Timischoara, Transylvania, were sentenced to six months imprisonment on the charge of having attacked two Roumanian students.
